How to Read a Peptide Certificate of Analysis

Most buyers glance at one number on a COA. The useful information is in the fields around it.
The fields that matter
Compound name and CAS, lot number, fill weight, purity by HPLC with the method stated, identity by mass spectrometry with the observed mass, appearance, and the issuing laboratory with a date.
Matching paper to product
The lot on the certificate must match the lot printed on the vial. If it does not, the document describes a different batch of material.
When to ask for more
For sensitive assay work, ask whether water content and residual solvent were measured. We will tell you what was and was not tested rather than implying a full panel.
Ordering, minimums, and pricing
Every SKU is priced per vial and sold in sealed ten-vial kits with a one-kit minimum. Volume tiers: 1 kit at list, 2 kits at 5% off, 3 kits at 7% off, 5 kits at 12% off, and 10 kits at 20% off. Domestic orders received by 2PM PT dispatch the same business day, and freight is free above $2,500.
