Peptide Inventory Turns: Sizing Reorders From Actual Consumption
2026-04-08 · 5 min read
Forecasts are guesses. Consumption is data. Reorder from the second one.
Measure vials per month per SKU
Count vials consumed, not kits purchased. One number per SKU per month is enough to size everything else.
Set the reorder point to lead time
With same-day domestic dispatch, lead time is short — so the reorder point can sit low and the ten-kit tier can be reserved for genuinely fast movers.
Where the discount is worth it
Twenty percent off only helps if the material is consumed before it ages out. For slow SKUs, single kits at list are cheaper in practice.
Ordering, minimums, and pricing
Every SKU is priced per vial and sold in sealed ten-vial kits with a one-kit minimum. Volume tiers: 1 kit at list, 2 kits at 5% off, 3 kits at 7% off, 5 kits at 12% off, and 10 kits at 20% off. Domestic orders received by 2PM PT dispatch the same business day, and freight is free above $2,500.
All compounds are sold as chemical reagents for laboratory research use only — not for human or veterinary use.
