Freight, Free Shipping Thresholds, and Landed Cost on Peptide Kits

2026-04-02 · 5 min read

Per-vial price is not landed cost. Freight and discount tier both move the number.

The formula

Landed cost per vial equals (kit price after discount × kits + freight) divided by total vials. Freight drops out above $2,500.

Where the threshold lands

On mid-priced SKUs the five-kit tier usually clears $2,500, which stacks a 12% discount with free freight.

Consolidate orders

Two small orders in the same week cost more in freight and discount than one combined order at the next tier.

Ordering, minimums, and pricing

Every SKU is priced per vial and sold in sealed ten-vial kits with a one-kit minimum. Volume tiers: 1 kit at list, 2 kits at 5% off, 3 kits at 7% off, 5 kits at 12% off, and 10 kits at 20% off. Domestic orders received by 2PM PT dispatch the same business day, and freight is free above $2,500.

All compounds are sold as chemical reagents for laboratory research use only — not for human or veterinary use.
